SB-400 SSB/CW Transmitter

This Heathkit SB-400 transmitter has been tested at RTO Electronics and was showing 100 watts output until the low voltage filter choke overheated. It now has no output and so will need repair. The accessory crystal pack (approx. $50 value) has been installed which allows the transmitter to be used stand alone or with a non-Heathkit receiver. It can also be paired with a Heathkit receiver such as SB-300, 301, 303 to operate as a transceiver or split frequency. The unit comes with a manual and line cord. The unit is being sold as is for parts or is an excellent candidate for restoration.
